PHNOM PENH—Aerobic gymnast Charmaine Dolar is hoping to make the best out of her farewell stint before finally bidding the Southeast Asian Games adieu.
On Saturday, the 31-year-old Dolar made it count with a bronze medal in women’s aerobic individual gymnastics at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.
“Since this will be my last, I just gave it my all,” said Dolar after amassing 17,300 points for third overall in the event held at the National Olympic Stadium here.
Vietnam’s Ha Vi Tran pocketed the gold medal with 18,366 points and Thailand’s Chawisa Intakul secured the silver in 17,716.
Dolar, now a three-time bronze medalist in the individual event, got a bronze medal from the Suzuki World Cup in Tokyo, Japan late last year in the mixed pair with Carl Joshua Tangonan.
